Our school opened in 2011 as a brand new multi campus secondary school located in State Sports Park in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.
The name – Roma Mitchell Secondary College – honours South Australia’s first female Governor, Dame Roma Mitchell. Dame Roma was a distinguished lawyer and a state Supreme Court judge, the first woman in the Commonwealth to be appointed to such a position.
Our vision is for our students to have the capacity and the courage to engage productively with our changing world, enabling them to shape a better future locally and globally.
We aim to achieve this by providing enriching, diverse educational and extra curricular programs which will support our students to reach their full potential and enable them to contribute to their communities in meaningful and positive ways.
Our school values of Respect, Diversity and Excellence underpin our vision.
Purpose built to engage students in 21st century learning, our school offers flexible learning spaces and technology rich environments across three campuses: Co-Education, Girls’ Education and Special Education, which are all uniquely co-located on the one school site.
We’re fiercely proud of our school and invite you to explore the strengths and achievements of Roma Mitchell Secondary School.
On behalf of our students, our teachers and our families… welcome!
