International Baccalaureate®

IB Middle Years

Our programs develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who are motivated to succeed. The IB gives students distinct advantages by building their critical thinking skills, nurturing their curiosity and their ability to solve complex problems. Roma Mitchell Sports Academy

Roma Mitchell Secondary College’s Sports Academy, offers successful year 7-12 applicants high-quality mentoring and training programs in soccer, cricket, volleyball and women’s AFL (AFLW).

We work in partnership with industry sports associations including, the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA), South Australian Women’s Football (AFLW) and Football South Australia (FSA) to give our students access to the best sports training in the state. Click here for more information.

 

VET

Roma Mitchell Secondary College offer a variety of specialist vocational courses which prepare students for specific career pathways or continued study in that area at TAFE. Successful completion of vocational training courses will enable students to receive SACE accreditation. Click here for more information

International Student

At Roma Mitchell Secondary College international students are supported by a committed team teachers, the Assistant Principal of International Programs, International Project Coordinator, School Counsellors and School Support Officers.

To create a supportive environment for international students we provide an orientation program which involves Student Prefects and members of the Roma Mitchell Secondary College Student Representative Council. This buddy system offers continuity within the school community for students that are away from home. Click here for more information.
