AGM and Governing Council Meeting

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)

We warmly invite all parents and caregivers to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Roma Mitchell Secondary College.
Attending the AGM is a fantastic opportunity to hear about the achievements of our students, receive updates on school finances, and learn about exciting developments within our school community.
During the AGM, we will also elect parent representatives for the 2026 Governing Council. If you’re passionate about contributing to the school’s success, we encourage you to consider nominating for a position.

The nomination process for parent members is now open! You may complete the nomination form online by following this link: Parent Member Nomination Form
Alternatively, you can find the nomination form attached to this message or collect a copy from the school’s front office.
Submission Details: Forms must be submitted to the principal, as the Returning Officer, via Sandra.foresto50@schools.sa.edu.au by 4.00pm on Friday, 20 February 2026. No late nominations will be accepted.
Being a part of the RMSC Governing Council is an excellent way to gain insight into school operations, have a say in policy decisions, and build connections with other parents and school leadership. The council consists of:
• 1 Principal of the school (ex officio)
• 12 elected parents
• 3 staff members
• 3 community members appointed by the Governing Council
Being a part of the Governing Council is a small commitment, meeting twice a term on a Monday evening commencing at 6.00pm. Meetings typically run for about two hours.
