Roma Mitchell Secondary College is purpose built to engage students in relevant and challenging learning. It provides flexible learning spaces and a ‘schools within school’ concept.

There are four campuses, Girls’ Campus, Middle Campus, Senior Campus and Special Campus, co-located onto the one school site.

Students are encouraged to achieve their potential. We do this by having high expectations and setting high standards. We support and challenge students to be successful, by providing teaching and learning programs that incorporate higher order thinking skills and technology rich classrooms to foster creativity, innovation and design.

Facilities

Roma Mithell Secondary College is located 11 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD and is well serviced by public transport. The College was purpose built in 2010 to accommodate three distinct Campuses, Co-Education Campus, Girls’ Campus and the Special Education Campus.

The advantage of what RMSC offers is that students will still be part of a smaller learning community in campuses but have the larger school advantage of increased curriculum offerings, especially with year 11 and 12 subjects and newly built facilities. Commencing 2022 RMSC expanded its specialised learning areas with a 15 million dollar build. Each campus has access to a double Gymnasium, the Resource Centre, the Commercial Kitchen and the Specialist Science labs.
